Globes: this returns to you the selection of globes, where you started out.
Navigation Map: a square shows your current position within a city and the area showing on your monitor. Click on this map to move to a new position, possibly on a different aerial photo.

Tiling Bar
Click on any Control Panel button for an explanation of its use. Choose ΓÇ£CruiseΓÇ¥ or ΓÇ£ExpertΓÇ¥ mode in the EDIT menu. Click on the OK button below to exit. Also, see the Read Me file on the CD.
Text: Click with this tool where you would like to create a new note. A dialog box will appear so you can enter text and select an icon to mark its location.
To move a note, shift-drag the icon.
To edit or delete a note, control-click on its icon.
Gallery: Click to see the images by type of satellite. Click on a category to view them in alphabetical order. You can visit an image from here by clicking on its Thumbnail.
Ruler: Click once to select a point of origin. Then drag this tool to measure distances from the origin, as displayed in the control panel. Click on the origin to remove it.
Looking Glass: You can drag this tool around to see through one image to another. If colored diamonds appear on the handle, click one to choose a different image. Click the colored dot on the handle to zoom the image in the Looking Glass.
Pointer: general purpose opposable thumb for selecting images and annotation. You can also drag an image around your screen with this tool.
Marquee: drag on an image with this tool to select an area, then use Copy from the File menu to get the selection into the Clipboard. You may freely copy most images with a credit line. A few which have copyright restrictions will disable the Marquee.
Magnifiers: click on the image with either of these tools to zoom in or out. When you've reached the limit of zooming, the cursor becomes a Pointer Tool.
Interrobang: displays information about whatever picture you are visiting or about the map you are in.
Personal Notes: shows any set of notes that you select with the File Menu command "Open Notebook". Create a set with "New Notebook" command. For more info see the ReadMe file on the CD.
Common Notes: shows the set of notes that appear on the Global Relief map. You can add notes to this set with the Text Tool. For more info see the ReadMe file on the CD.
Satellite Dots: When depressed, these dots appear on the Relief Map. Click once on one of these dots to see a Thumbnail (small version) image. Click the Thumbnail to visit that image.
USA
Navigation Globe: shows where you are. Click where you want to go, and click on the edge of the globe to spin it.
Compass Rose: navigate short distances as you mouse down on a compass point.
